About
Coralie (She, Her) is a PhD student in the Department of Communication at UIC. She comes from the south of France and has been living in the US since 2019.
She earned her first Master's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2013 (ENSGTI, France), specializing in Quality, Safety, and Environment. Then, she worked as a Project Manager for six years in various fields (Industry, Bank, and Insurance).
She moved to Colorado in 2019, and she started volunteering to raise awareness about climate change. She realized how meaningful climate change communication is to her and how impactful it can be. She earned her second Master's degree in Journalism and Media Communication from Colorado State University in 2024.
Coralie’s research lies at the intersection between communication, sociology, and political science. She focuses on analyzing the narratives that are shaping and questioning solutions for a carbon-neutral society.
