Rebecca Ann Lind receives BEA’s 2019 Lifetime Achievement in Scholarship
Rebecca Ann Lind, Director of Undergraduate Studies and an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), has been awarded the 2019 Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Lifetime Achievement in Scholarship.
BEA’s Lifetime Achievement in Scholarship (LAS) recognizes significant contributions to research and scholarship involving broadcast and electronic media. Recipients are evidenced by related extensive publication in books and leading journals. The LAS will be presented to Dr. Lind during a BEA2019 awards ceremony and reception in Las Vegas on the evening of Sunday, April 7th. She will give a formal presentation, Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters: Dimensions of Neo/Religiosity on the afternoon of Monday, April 8th. Click here for more information.
