Diana Casteel is apart of the 2018 doctoral student cohort. Hailing from Northern California, Diana completed her BA degree in Communication at Humboldt State University in 2016, and her MA in Communication with a focus in media studies at the University of Cincinnati in 2018.
Diana is interested in digital social movements, how activists perceive the affordances of social networking sites, digital privacy and surveillance, data management, and activist rhetoric. She currently is a graduate instructor teaching Fundamentals of Communication.
