Sarah Leiser Ransom is a part of the 2018 doctoral student cohort. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Sarah completed her BA degree in Communication and Media Studies at Richmond, The American International University London in 2016, and her MA in Public Communication and Media with a focus in global media at the University of Denver in 2018.
Sarah is interested in online groups and communities, how people circumvent platform restrictions to create community spaces online, and digital privacy and surveillance. She currently is a graduate instructor teaching Fundamentals of Communication.
