About
Olivia Sadler began the Communication PhD Program in Fall 2020. After completing her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in History from University of North Carolina Wilmington, she went on to earn her Masters in Communication at University of North Carolina Charlotte. Her research interests include popular music, social change, fan studies, and gender in online spaces. She has presented her research focused on ethics and online fan communities at Carolinas Communication Association Conference. Along with experience as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant, she has professional experience in non profit fundraising and membership programs.
