About
Olivia Sadler began the Communication PhD Program in Fall 2020. After completing her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in History from University of North Carolina Wilmington, she went on to earn her Masters in Communication at University of North Carolina Charlotte. Her research interests include popular music, digital cultural production, and algorithmic curation. Along with experience as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant, she has professional experience in non profit fundraising and membership programs. She has presented her research at multiple scholarly conferences and has published her work in Social Media + Society. Following her completion of the program, Olivia hopes to continue researching and teaching at the university level.
